Virginia Turner’s Personal Collection
From the pages of Grimm’s fairy tale, we present the characters in full color; Hansel, Gretel and Arga.
Gretel is a 27″ girl with vinyl hands to the elbow, full legs and head.
Gretel, although poor with patches, still looks lovely in her Bavarian style dress. The dress has a bright yellow cotton peasant blouse with a red skirt, trimmed in a blue and bright green. The vest is a royal blue velvet.
Gretel has lovely green eyes and sandy blonde hair pulled to the back in one braid with a little scarf. Being poor, she too has patches on her clothes and her stocking look a bit worn too, as they are tea-dyed and her shoes are brown buckled oxfords. Her stand is included.
This Gretel is #18 of 25.
Please note: This doll comes from Virginia’s Collection and has been displayed. Virginia has sold/closed her factory, showroom, tea room and house and this is one of many dolls that we picked up from her. There might be some slight imperfections from being displayed.
