Glinda, The Good Witch of the North
Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls
Glinda, The Good Witch of the North arrives in Munchkinland in a bubble – to discover Dorothy! “Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” she asks Dorothy.
Our Glinda, The Good Witch of the North stands six inches tall with hand painted details and is made of the finest bisque porcelain. Glinda wears a pink organza dress with a white organza petticoat. She also comes with her wand and crown. Glinda has red hair and brown eyes.
After magically putting the Ruby Slippers on Dorothy’s feet, she sets Dorothy off on her quest to get to Emerald City and see the Wizard of Oz. Glinda reminds Dorothy to never remove the Ruby Slippers or she will be at the mercy of the Wicked Witch of the West. “But, how do I start for Emerald City?” asks Dorothy. “It’s always best to start at the beginning – and all you do is follow the Yellow Brick Road.” Glinda tells her.
Nancy Ann is sculpted by doll artist Dianna Effner.
