Virginia Turner’s Personal Collection
Adalind is a Dutch name. This 29″ sweetie has pale blonde braids and light blue eyes. She is sculpted by Peggy Dey and designed by Virginia Turner.
Wouldn’t Adalind be a bright spot in anyone’s collection?
She wears a skirt, blouse and apron. The blouse is white with an inset of white eyelet on yellow with a blue cord tie. Her skirt is blue with tiny printed daisies in many colors, then bordered by a matching blue print. The apron is embroidered eyelet with a beading of yellow ribbon.
To complete the look, she has a white Dutch hat and wears yellow wooden shoes. Since she is a country girl at heart, she is holding a little yellow chick. Stand included.
Please note: This doll comes from Virginia’s Collection and has been displayed. Virginia has sold/closed her factory, showroom, tea room and house and this is one of many dolls that we picked up from her. There might be some slight imperfections from being displayed.
