Numerous towns, with their half-fimbered houses and slate roofs, Conjure up visions of eras long gone. The towns – Lauscha, Rauenstein, Sonneberg – are closely associated with the historyof culture, with long-established and perhaps, therefore, so lovingly pursued arts, crafts and industry.
