Doll Artist: Elissa Glassgold

Elissa Glassgold worked for many years as a painter, teacher and professor of art history; however, she always loved dolls, and modeled figures of children from clay.  She suspected that one day she would make her hobby her profession.  In 1989, a visit to a gallery in New York brought the turning point when Elissa Glassgold saw the dolls of a famous doll artist,.  From this point the artist fashioned ever new, charming creations.  She hopes that her emotions which she reflects in her dolls also move those people who hold the dolls in their arms.  That is all that an artist can indeed wish.  These dolls have kanekalon wigs, crystal glass eyes, lavish details, high-quality accessories and real leather shoes.  

Tomlin is 20 inches and comes with a plate and chopsticks.
