Lydia Noel
Lydia Noel is 28” tall, and has vinyl head, shoulder plate, arms, and vinyl legs to just below the knee. Her body is a new design that allows her to sit in any position or to stand. Lydia has green eyes and a green taffeta dress, trimmed with creme lace. Lydia is a big sister to our first Christmas doll, Heather Jane. Heather Jane was done in the same color scheme and we embroidered holly and berries on a circle and placed it around her pinafore skirt. For Lydia, we used the same embroidery on green taffeta pin-tucking. The collar is in pin-tucking and embroidery. The dress has a double skirt. On the underskirt, there are four half moon pin-tucked embroidery designs trimmed in creme lace. The upper skirt is pulled up above each embroidered design with a red ribbon and on the back of the skirt is a big bow.
Miss Lydia’s hair is a cascade of red curls pulled up and held with a creme lace bow and holly with berries. She holds a little hand made wreath and wears creme boots.
