Marie Antoinette

Marie-Antoinette, the wife of King Louis XVI, has glass eyes and a hand-made wig.  Her dress is made from beautiful wild silk and silk organdie.  The whole ensemble is further embellished with large, embroidered roses and hand-sewn over-pearling.  Her headdress is typical of Marie-Antoinette, who loved to dress with enormous studied elegance, and is fashioned exclusively in silk, topped with silk roses, together with fine ostrich feathers to give the outfit its final touch of grace and refinement.
