A little about the Artist, Michelle Fagan... Michelle was lucky enough to live in a close-knit family with many talented and creative members. Michelle fondly remembers the handmade clothes that her grandmothers and aunts used to sew and knit for her dolls. Some of Michelle's favorite things to do as a child were to draw and make paper dolls.
Michelle loved to go to local doll shows. "It was there that I saw a one of a kind baby. After that, I knew I wanted to sculpt something as beautiful." she says. She tried her hand at sculpting dolls but was never really able to get the hang of it. So, she decided to take a workshop with doll artist Rita Rich. It really set her on the path towards creating her first one of kind baby.
