GERLINDE STELZER “My dolls are mirrors of the soul”, says doll artist Gerlinde Bartelt-Stelzer. Although she began her artistic career as a painter, she has since shifted her focus to the design of dolls and figurines. Her children were her original inspiration, with her first portrait doll completed in 1980. Gerlinde Bartelt-Stelzer finds ideas for her designs in old books, museums and in real life.  Emma is a 25" standing doll.  She has a resin head, arms and legs.
