| Harmony Kingdom's Treasure Jests are handcrafted in the English Cotswolds. Made from a special crushed marble and resin mixture, each has the look and feel of ivory. Every Treasure Jest is sculpted by master carver Peter Calvesbert and is a charming and humorous animal portrayal. These box figurines are ideal for storing tiny treasures. Secrets: Although the design is clean and simple, there is the usual HK touch of humour with the tub of moisturizer. Do cosmetic manufacturers test their wrinkle creams on Shar-peis? These odd looking dogs survived a brush with extinction and strangely enough must have a black tongue if they are to be successful show dogs (a pink tongue is an instant disqualification). Inside the box is some licorice, so our Shar-pei can have a black tongue whenever it is needed. What would they eat to keep themselves so wrinkled? Peter figures it’s raisins. Finally, everyone knows the adage about dogs and their owners looking alike, so the name of a British comedic actor named Sid James made it into the interior of the box. He starred in most of the “Carry On” films and had a very wrinkled, but happy, face.
