Hildegard Gunzel

Hildegard Guenzel graduated from the German Master School for Fashion Design in Munich and started working as a designer in the fashion and jewelry industry.  In 1972, she began making dolls as a hobby.  At first, she experimented with different modeling materials, most often with Cernit.  Hildegard’s dolls are always dressed in exquisitely detailed costumes using luxurious fabrics.  Over the years, she has won international recognition and numerous awards for her designs.
