One out of every eight babies in the United States is born premature. A baby is considered premature when he or she is born before 37 weeks gestation. These precious gifts are usually very small and some of them have to remain in the hospital for weeks and even months before they can go home. The smallest of these babies are called Micro-Preemies weighing a mere one to three pounds. Due to the fact that their little bodies have not had enough time in the womb to develop properly, they need lots of special attention and medical care to make sure they continue to grow properly. However the unfortunate truth is some of them are just too small to survive. However, due to medical help and some Divine intervention more and more of these “MiniMiracles” and surviving and thriving every single Day!
