Rosalie Frischmann, Artist

Rosalie Frischmann's love for Teddy Bears began when she was a toddler.  She remembers her favorite little white Teddy as the object of her unconditional love throughout her youth.

Rosalie was the youngest of three daughters.  Her parents, both creative, shared a great appreciation for art that was passed on to the girls.  From a young age, Rosalie enjoyed the animal illustrations in her children's books and thus began her love for all creatures great and small.  She was always in art classes and enjoyed making things with her hands.

Microbiology was her chosen career path, however, she was not happy without art in her life.  It wasn't until the birth of her second daughter when the opportunity came that she had been waiting for.  While decorating her daughter's room in a Teddy Bear theme, she decided to add hand crafted Teddy Bears as accessories.  She began with making Teddy's and animals and hasn't stopped since.

Over a period of years she sold her hand made crafts through her sister, who was her first salesperson, with the strong support of her husband, Rosalie began to attend national Teddy Bear Shows where her designs were met with great enthusiasm and sold out.  For years she has been featured artist at Disney's Teddy and Doll Convention.

Teddy Bear shows have become a family affair.  Traveling all over the US, Europe, and Japan, her most loyal fan and supporter has been her husband.  She has enjoyed her career as a bear artist and can't imagine doing anything else.

Rosalie treasures the friendship she shares with her collectors.  Nothing makes her happier than seeing one of her creations go home with someone who really appreciates her work.
