Boobai is dressed in an elegant outfit from the Qing Dynasty of Manchuria. Her name means 'the little treasure'. She wears a green and gold silk-like cheongsam covered with a pink vest trimmed with white faux-fur that is held closed with tiny, pearl encrusted, crocheted frogs. The fur trim and profuse beaded ornamentation dangling from Boobai's hat reflect her high station in life. Note that her beaded and tasseled silk shoes are elevated in the old tradition. Accessories not included.
