All vinyl dolls are designed by Ruth Treffeisen and are produced by the artist herself.  All accessories are made of natural materials, such as cotton or pure silk for the clothing and genuine leather for the shoes.  Ruth uses only the best human hair or mohair wigs, to emphasize the doll faces and the doll type.  The jewelry is exclusively hand crafted from gold, silver, pearls and real stones.  The head and shoulder plates are connected with a movable joint.  The dolls bodies are made of cotton twill and stuffed with sheep's wool.  The heads, arms, and legs of all dolls are movable. The elbows can be bent and the arms may be turned in the cloth body.  World wide production for Loretta is limited to 200.
