The Ruth Treffeisen Vinyl Collection
Each of Ruth Treffeisen's
dolls is carefully hand-crafted in her studio in Germany. The clothing is
consciously simple to give preference to the valuable materials and superior
quality of the tailoring. Ruth uses only the best human hair or mohair wigs to
emphasize the doll faces and the doll type. The eyes are either crystal or
vinyl, whichever fits better to the dolls character. The heads and
shoulder plates are adjusted with movable joints, which enables different
expressions and settings. The jewelry is exclusively hand crafted from
gold, silver, pearls and real stones. Every accessory, such as a hat or
shoe is designed by Ruth to guarantee uniqueness. These dolls are highly
prized world wide, are signed by the artist herself and are produced in
extremely limited editions.
