Festival paid close to $71,000 for a very rare 14 inch jet black Teddy from
1953, the only one known in existence. Steiff collectors all over the
world now have the opportunity to own an authentic reproduction of this
record-making little fellow. Teddy’s stunning brown and black glass pupil
eyes complement his thick, black mohair fur. Teddy bear 1953 is five ways
jointed, excelsior stuffed, and wears a gold plated elephant logo "Button in
Ear”.
